What is the deposit for?

A $30.00 deposit per person is required to hold your appointment in place. Deposit will be deducted from your total purchase at register. 

Does Permanent Jewelry hurt? 

 Absolutely NOT. It is NOT jewelry that is placed into your skin. It is just attaching a jump ring to your chain of choice and welding that jump ring together so that it doesn't split open when you wear it daily, The weld just keeps the chain from breaking off. The permanent part in Permanent jewelry means the chain can't be removed as easy as a clasp that opens and closes. We do not touch the skin with the welder ever. IT IS VERY SAFE! We promise!!

A few more details...

All permanent jewelry sales are final. We train all of our permanent jewelry stylists to temporarily attach the chain so that the customer knows exactly how the chain will fit permanently. Once the customer is asked if the fit is good and we receive verbal confirmation from the customer to move forward, we go ahead and cut the chain and prep it for welding. Once the chain has been cut the item becomes final sale. No exceptions.

Duration: While the welding process only takes a second, fitting the bracelets can take a few minutes. Please expect a wait when getting your permanent jewelry. Approximately 5-10 mins.

Late: If you arrive 5 mins past your appointment we may need to reschedule your time slot. It is not guaranteed that it will be rescheduled same day, as it depends on availability. We must be considerate to those who also have an appointment immediately after you. Please come with plenty of time to find parking. Parking is free all over Balboa Island. If you cannot find parking on Marine Ave. park in residential area. Parking is free and open to the public. No show: If you do not cancel your appointment 24 hours prior to your appointment you will lose your $30.00 deposit. No exceptions. Rescheduling is available for a future appointment.

*All exact pricing available on premise. Prices start at $45 and up depending on choice of chain and type of jewelry item: Bracelet, Necklace, Anklet or Ring. We offer 14K Solid Gold, Sterling Silver, Gold Filled Metals, all tarnish free and meant to be warn 24/7. Metal colors offered: Gold, Silver and Rose Gold. We also offer charms that can be added to your chain starting at $25.00.

Location: We offer permanent jewelry services at our 304 Marine Ave Newport Beach/Balboa Island jewelry studio. Plan a fun trip here! The island is full of fun things to do, great food and lots of shopping you can do after or before your appointment with Sanlejur. Locals often say we are the best jewelry shop on the island, something we are really proud of. We've been serving the Newport Beach community since 2021. We are looking forward to serving you!

Parking: Parking is FREE. Please come with plenty of time to find parking. Parking is available directly on Marine Ave but if none is available be sure to drive down residential areas where there is plenty of parking.

Minimum welding age? Anyone under 18 will be required to have a parent or guardian present.

*We don’t recommend this process if you are allergic to gold or other metals like sterling silver.

*If you ever need to cut the jump ring to remove the chain you can easily do that on your own or with the help of someone by using a set of cutting pliers. In the event that you would want your chain re-attached, you can come back to our store and have it re-attached for a small welding fee.
